The summer sunshine is the perfect time for students to offer service to those in need through mission trips and enjoy outdoor activities with their friends while strengthening their walk with Christ during camps.

Who: Completed 7th - 12th Graders
What: Spiritual/Social/Recreational Retreat (3 Nights at a rustic cabin setting, 2 Days of fun and worship) Other churches DO NOT attend (Outdoor Activities: Swimming, Hiking, Outdoor sports, Tubing (if Frio River allows), Games/Crafts, Garner State Park Dance) Daily Youth-led Worship, Meals Included (except meals to and from camp paid by you)                          
When: Mon. July 31-Thurs. Aug 3, 2017
Where: H.E.Butt Foundation Camps (Hill Country near Leakey, TX)
Cost: $200/Youth*Adults Paid by GSUMC   What Else: Adults needed to attend camp. ADDITIONAL RELIEF DRIVERS NEEDED FOR SAFE TRIP HOME FROM CAMP! Adults will need to drive a 15-passenger van. Adults who attend camp will need to complete a Youth Protection Online Training by the Boy Scouts of America. Take the training HERE and print the certification at the end of course. NOTE: This is the only camp where space is limited. As a result, completed 6th graders are not eligible for this camp and priority for the 7th-12th graders will be given based on Youth’s church involvement during the current school year; age/gender ratios; and payment in full by deadline.
